The Three Roads Inn
One of the few places where living Elyra still touches the modern world.
Before the Wound
The Three Roads Inn was a loud, ordinary gathering place near the heart of Elyra. Merchants, scholars, travelers, workers, and Commons delegates all passed through its doors.
Its keeper, Jessa Vale, became known less for ceremony than for the simple conviction that anyone who crossed her threshold could be fed, warmed, or given somewhere to sit.
The Inn That Remained
When the Elyrian Wound destroyed much of the city, the Inn was badly damaged — but part of its old stone structure and central hearth survived.
Jessa survived with her children. She stayed. Other survivors returned. Travelers followed. The Inn became one of the enduring places around which Haven slowly emerged.
Today
The Three Roads Inn remains a tavern, not a shrine. People still drink, argue, trade stories, and meet beneath a roof repaired more times than anyone can reliably count.
“Jessa, there isn't a city anymore.” “There’s an inn.”
