Elyra / Haven

The Last Tree of Elyra

A scarred tree that survived where almost nothing around it did.

Three Roads Garden

Before the Wound, the tree stood in an ordinary public garden where families ate, children played, musicians performed, and people met beneath its branches.

The catastrophe destroyed the garden around it. The tree was split, burned, and marked by Aether — but it lived.

The First Lantern

In the aftermath, a lantern appeared on the surviving tree. Then another. No decree created the tradition. No official body maintained it. People simply remembered.

The Last Tree became a quiet symbol that survival did not require pretending nothing had been lost.
