Ashmere Crystals

Vessels built to hold what was never meant to stand still.

Among the rarest relics of the Age of Aether are crystalline vessels attributed to the work of Vesryn Ashmere and Thane. Ancient texts describe them as capable of capturing and storing finite quantities of Aether.

Most surviving examples are inert. A crystal without charge is little more than an artifact of a lost science, and modern scholars still debate how the ancients filled them safely.

The discovery of even a partially active Ashmere Crystal can transform an archaeological expedition overnight. What else they once powered — and what systems may still be waiting for them — remains unknown.
